From AVETMISS to the VET Information Standard: What RTOs Need from Their LMS and Student Management System
Australia’s VET reporting reforms bring AVETMISS Release 8.1 changes from January 2027 and a phased transition to the new VET Information Standard, with mandatory reporting under the new standard from January 2029 at the latest. For RTOs, preparation means checking their student management system’s reporting capability and ensuring that information captured through the LMS reaches the reporting process accurately and on time.
